The wide spectrum of special educational needs is supported by forest school. Our practitioners have specialist training in working with autistic children and with those who have challenging behaviour. By ensuring the range of challenges are engaging, suitable and achieveable raises self-esteem and communication skills.

 

Dorset Forest School is an approved partner of UK Youth, and is consequently able to run Personal Achievement Awards for its young folk. Learners take an active part in selecting their Personal Challenge, seek feedback from peers and collect evidence to demonstrate their learning.
