​DORSET FOREST SCHOOL

Dorset Forest School offers consultancy to educational settings who have the desire to establish their own forest school practice. Working alongside teachers to design sites and link practices to the national curriculum.

 

We understand each school is different and enjoys a variety of strengths and challenges. Our aim is to tailor a programme or development plan which compliments eco-schools initiative, delivers the curriculum in a hands-on way and supports the teaching staff beyond our involvement.

 

We offer inset day provision which aims to engage all members of staff by introducing them to the history of the development of forest school and how its ethos can support even the hardest to reach learners.
