Dorset Forest School is a community interest company (C.I.C) started by Jill Hooper and Maddy Irvine to provide forest school in Dorset. We are aided and abetted by Forest School leading lights Emily Gainsford and Loretta Perrella, Nicole Woods, and brilliant bushcrafters Justin Ruddle and Will Newitt

Nature Nurture

Nature Nurture is our funded projects branch. Our dream is all for all children and young people to benefit from nurturing nature of forest school activities. Click here to learn more about our lovely funders and the projects fertlised by their funds

Forest school encourages holistic development, but most importantly support social interactions as activities are designed to build co-operation, communication and self-esteem.

Experience shows how forest school can especially nurture those children with additional needs.

We can help

Play Schemes

School holidays see our team of Forest School leaders taking groups of 4 to 12 year olds on mini-adventures.

We offer seasonal activities including a mixture of crafts, games, fire lighting and tool work.
